Stop watching charts. Know when it matters.
DirectTrade watches your prices across your exchanges around the clock, and tells you when one hits. Then act from your own account, with keys that never leave your phone.
goodcryptoX shuts down on 9 October 2026. If you used it to follow your pairs across exchanges, get price alerts and trade from your phone, DirectTrade does that job, for iPhone and Android. Set a price, put the phone away, and act on your own account when it hits.
What is happening to goodcryptoX
goodcryptoX announced on 21 September 2026 that it will stop operating on 9 October 2026, and that its wind-down support runs until 8 November 2026. Its subscribers are being offered a move to a trading-bot platform. DirectTrade is a separate product and is not affiliated with goodcryptoX.
Before 9 October
These steps come from goodcryptoX's own notice, and they matter more than choosing a new app.
- Move any assets out of the wallets built into goodcryptoX.
- Stop your bots a few days ahead, then check your open orders and positions on each exchange. Orders already placed at an exchange do not disappear when goodcryptoX closes.
- Write down the pairs you follow and the alert levels you rely on, so you can set them up again.
How DirectTrade covers what you used
- Price alerts. Set a level and put the phone away. Prices are watched around the clock, even with the app closed, and an alert arrives as a notification on whichever device you are holding. An optional daily digest names the biggest movers on your watchlists.
- One watchlist across your exchanges. Pairs from Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX and other major exchanges in one list. Every row names its exchange and shows the live price, the 24-hour change and a sparkline. A home-screen widget shows the pairs you choose.
- Trading on your own account. Connect an exchange with an API key you create there, with read and trade permissions only. See balances, place and cancel limit and market orders, and review open orders and fills. Every order goes to the exchange under your own account.
- Charts. Live prices from the exchange itself, with indicators, drawings that stay with their pair, and the live order book beside the chart.
- Holdings in one place. Balances across the exchanges you connect, valued together.
- Several devices. Sign in with Apple, Google or email to keep watchlists, alerts and chart configurations in step. Without an account, everything works on the phone in your hand.
What is different
- No trading bots. DirectTrade has no DCA or grid bots. You set the alerts, and you place the orders.
- No built-in wallets or DEX trading. DirectTrade works with your accounts on centralised exchanges.
- Phones only. iPhone and Android; there is no web version.
- Your API keys never leave your phone. Every request to an exchange is signed on the device, and DirectTrade never holds your funds. It is not an exchange, a broker or a wallet.
- No ads. The free tier connects one exchange and covers two watchlists with ten pairs across them, three active alerts and three indicators per chart. DirectTrade Pro, monthly or yearly, lifts these limits.
Moving over
- Install DirectTrade and add the pairs you followed to a watchlist. Search covers every pair on the exchanges DirectTrade supports.
- Create a new API key on each exchange you trade on, with read and trade permissions and no withdrawal access, and add it under Settings → Exchanges. The app walks through each exchange's steps.
- Delete the API keys you gave goodcryptoX on each exchange. A key stays active at the exchange until you delete it there, even after the app that used it has closed.
- Set your price alerts again from the chart or the Alerts tab.
goodcryptoX's data cannot be imported. If the exchange you trade on is not in DirectTrade yet, or you have questions about switching, write to support@directtrade.app.
